How much does shipping cost?
Free within Europe: the EU, the UK, Norway and Switzerland.
Everywhere else it is a flat €40 per order, however far your disco cat has to travel. We cover the rest ourselves.
Customs duties and import taxes are not included and are payable on arrival.
When will I receive it?
Your Disco Cat is shipped within 7 days of your order. We are usually faster, but a sculpture covered in mirror tiles has to be packed properly, and we would rather take an extra day than have one arrive in pieces.
Transit then takes up to another 7 days, depending on where you live. We ship from Belgium, so please count on roughly 14 days in total.
Pre-orders work differently, because your cat still has to be made. The expected delivery period is stated on the pre-order product page, and that is the date that counts.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from receiving your cat to tell us you want to return it, and another 14 days after that to send it back. The date you hand it to the carrier is what counts, not the date it reaches us.
Return shipping is paid by the customer. Please get in touch before sending anything back, and keep the original box: a mirror-covered sculpture cannot travel safely in anything else.
If your Disco Cat arrives damaged or defective, that is a different story. Contact us immediately with photos and we will put it right at our cost.
Will I have to pay customs duties?
Orders delivered inside the EU are not subject to customs duties or import taxes. Grooovy Paws is based in Belgium.
Outside the EU your package may be charged import duties or taxes on arrival, depending on your country’s rules and the order value. This includes the UK, Norway, Switzerland and Iceland, even though shipping there is free. These charges are set by local customs authorities and are the responsibility of the customer.
If they apply, the carrier will email you with instructions before your package can be delivered.
Why is the price set at this level?
We understand that our pricing is on the high end, but it reflects the high-quality materials used and the fact that each item is carefully handmade. Every piece takes time, skill, and attention to detail to create.
The product is also unique and cannot be found anywhere else in this size or form. Unlike mass-produced items from large commercial retailers such as Amazon, Shein, or Temu, our pieces are individually crafted rather than factory-made.
We also invest in careful packaging to ensure your item arrives in perfect condition, which adds to the overall cost. In addition, we cover most of the shipping cost for every order.
